Vet Rewards

In regards to ethereal mounts on other servers, I always felt the "transparent" aspect of the mount was distracting and overall poor looking. What sort of difficulty would be involved with coloring the ethies to resemble a real horse/llama/ostard while riding?

I don't think much difficulty, as either OSI did it... but with Stygian Abyss expansion:

This if we want to talk about players coloring their ethies.
Instead, in code, it should be even easier.

For An Corp/Vas Corp, I don't think ethies will be implemented as Veteran Rewards were introduced in late 2001, so later than Publish 10.

For a custom shard... how would I like ethereal mounts in general? Hmmm... sincerely I don't like much the idea you have always a mount in your pocket, but of course I'm biased as I have enough of PvM and I want to switch to PvP. I am sick to be scared as I put a foot in Fel!

So, I leave to staff the entire decision.

p.s. Can I ask you, when you quote other posts, to use the QUOTE functions which are at lower right of each post, or at least to include parts you want to quote in QUOTE tags? Thanks

OSI Vet Rewards will never be implemented into our servers, we will have a different kind of vet reward which is still in the works, as there is no player except the staff who have been on the server almost a year.

This is partially incorrect, a lot of the vet rewards from UO minus the ethereals will be implemented..

I am not talking about the ones that are IE dye tubs. But the ones that are like ethies etc. are the ones I am referring to.

Dye Tubs, Monster Statues are the ones that are part of the ticket systems. I am talking about new rewards that are not going to disrupt game-play in anyway.

Sweet, Sweet.... I myself don't think the +2 AR Factor Robes & Cloaks should be either, always hated that (especially when a dexxer vs mage)
